My RS Turbo for sale
Posted: Sun Dec 16, 2007 7:12 pmReluctant sale of my Escort RS Turbo which I have owned for just over 8 years, maintained what ever the cost and am selling as just dont have the time to use it anymore.
This reflects in its millage between its last MOT's being just 2000 miles in 12 months, which I had done in September and sialed through with no problems and is also the last time the car was used. New battery and Starter motor in September.
4 previous owners, a folder full of history and invoices totaling upto a 5 figure sum, and all its MOT's since in my ownership
MOT and Tax remaining.
This car is a Ex Fast Ford Magazine cover and feature car. Lots of money spent and with all reciepts to prove dating back to Jan' 2000.
Spec - Engine is a 1.6 CVH completely standard block, head and cam, P8 Cosworth management with Pectel Board with ALS capabiltiy, Stage 3 T3 Turbo, recently rebuilt by Essex Turbo's, GRS Intercooler, twin kenlowe fans, Pace Radiator, Air Injectors, Bosch 803 Injectors (Greens), Coilpack,
Mongoose exhaust, New engine bay loom last year built by Car Looms UK (pectel style)
Transmition - Stage 2+ Gearbox, from Gearboxman, Uprated (iB5 specification) bearings, shot-peened gears, Quaife ATB limited slip diff and 4 Paddle Clutch. GEAR BOX COST JUST UNDER £1500, when bought last year.
Suspension - Koni Adjustables all round (both rears where replaced with new items last year), 80% polly bushes all round, Series one anti roll bar with one off made solid stainless steel tie bars (these wont go out of shape like normal ones do), Chassis Dynamics -30mm Springs.
Brakes - Wilwood 4 pot front calipers with larger front discs, cosworth 4x4 rear disc conversion.
Wheels - 17" Wolfrace Ikon's, 2 with new tyres 204/40's
Extras - Baileys header tanks and breather, Blue Silicone hosing, Momo steering wheel, Ford Racing gauges in A-pilar Pod (Boost and oil pressure), Turbo Monitor display in Dash. Delocked front doors.
