Ex Fast Ford ERST

Postby NEIL@FASTFORD » Fri Mar 27, 2009 12:39 pm

Righto, i've bought this car from the mag a while ago. Brought it back to life, spent some money and sorted it out.

Jano had a look over it and sorted the fuelling etc
It's had two new Parada's on the front, set the TCA's up properly at Elite
New battery, altenator, Millers 10-60 oil, filter etc etc

It is being used as my daily driver which is nice, but anyone who know's me will know the horrific amount of miles i do for work, commuting and just seeing friends.

I've already put a couple of thousand miles on it in no time

I REALLY love this car, but i know that if i keep it for too long it won't do it favours as i don't have the time to give it waxes every other day. Plus, running superunleaded everywhere is killing me

It needs a loving owner, get it on EFI and its pretty much a feature car, or wash it and its a serioulsy straight, tidy and well specc'ed ERST.

Quick spec

Full 90 spec kit, fresh paint

17inch Team Dynamic Pro Race wheels, good tyres all round.

Adjustable TCA's

Flocked dash, boost gauge

Spax suspension

Cossie brakes

Rear disc conversion

Roose hoses

B+M Quickshifter

Full Leather retrim, very nice seats.

Polybushes

Piper X airfilter

Chip

Pro Alloy front mount cooler

new battery, altenator, oil 'n filter, tyres, 6month tax etc etc......

190bhp

Looking for around £3500. Loads of very very average cars seem to be up for that price, this certainly isn't some average snotty RST.

More info here. Please note the pics DO NOT do it any justice.

I have recent pictures but would prefer to email or txt them to anyone seriously interested.

It is! It's a proper belter, a few lads on here have seen it up close recently.

I would be open to doing a deal

eg, de-speccing the car to make it cheaper or taking a big chunk of cash and say a Mk5 Fiesta for the bird.

Don't need any projects or "fast" cars....i'm running a fleet which included 5 modded cars...something has to go, this is perfect for someone to enjoy or to take to the next level.

Nah, i like 170's as they are understated. I recently considered them. But decided i'd do better to build up a cheap track 'n road Puma.

I'm running too many modded cars at the moment.

I need some cash back from what i have put into it and to finish my two fiesta's....they will be both running in weeks at the latest.

I'd de-spec to make it cheaper (rather it go complete though) or take a PX on a small runaround for the bird, but i'm not spoiling her  Dizzy bint would stack a st170 in no time.

Lemme know, i have only really made a firm decision to sell today. I'll hold it for a while in one of my garages, if funds get too tight and i'd have to bust it for parts, real shame if it goes that way. :(

haha, she's rubbish! It offends me!

I've coached her to be a good road driver and she's well safe on the motorway after i trained her up, but she drives quickly now as she's got used to speed by always being in my cars all the time....it's a bad thing, she doesnt have the skills to go with it haha

I'm taking her to Brunters when i go to Licester to collect my car, she will learn how to drive my Puma quick, then i "may" let her have a shot of the FRST....

I've a feeling i'll be buying a new clutch soon

On topic though, fair enough, lemme know, first come first serve.

If someone is looking for a decent RST i'm confident the first person to see will buy.

Defo don't want to break it, i'd make lots more but it's not really a money making scheme, more about letting it go to a better space and freeing up garage space and one less car to tax and insure....

It's long gone mate and £2900 is far far too cheap for the condition and spec.
