Unfinished cossie managed series2- NOW BREAKING

Postby Mike k » Sat May 28, 2011 4:15 pm

I know im gonna get cained by other members for doing this but if it sells it sells if it doesnt then i'll have to rent a garage to put it in.

Ok, 1989 G reg red series 2 escort, been resprayed, new arches, wings, front panel, boot floor, outer sills, bla bla bla, delocked, smooth bonnet and smoothed bumpers. All very nice, but battery tray is going a bit, small scratch on passenger door and bumpers have some small scratches. Front bumper has holes for if u had small indicators in it if u had twin headlights. Smoked red rear lights, ultra clear front indicators, new window seals, opening rears.
Engines in it, has done 10k since rebuild, was fine and gearbox fine when taken off road. Scorpion exhaust, stage 2 t3, no play in shaft. Engine has a piper cam and vernier pulley. Clutch is a AP one. Koni adjustables were brand new never seen the road although theyre covered in stone chipping underseal stuff.

Ive got pictures of it being done i the bodyshop showing them putting new arches in, new boot floor, and completely sorting out the roof. No rust here.

Got majority of cossie management stuff, coil pack, twin amps, green injectors, 1.8 sierra alternator set up, level 6 ecu with coil pack board, pectel board. new water and air sensors, all fuel pipe work. The inlet manifold has been smoothed completely, and powdercoated gloss black along with the coil pack bracket, rocker cover, inlet pipe, again all smooth. All vacuum pipe and connectors etc from Jano.

Grs polished cooler, again as new, twin kenlowes, pace alloy rad.

bailey header tank, swirl pot, oil seperator, again all powdercoated gloss black.

Wolfrace 17 inch voodoos, not bad nick, could do with new tyres.

Cossie front and rear discs, powdercoated brake lines under car with inline compensators for rears, goodridge braided hoses. Fuel tank painted red, mint fuel pump holder to go on there, suspension all powercoated or painted. Front calipers are new refurbed from brake engineering. New pads all round and the rear discs are new, fronts excellent and are grooved.

Loom had all its mfi stuff cut out, got a atoad ai606 alarm. Twin gauge a pillar pod with boost and oil pressure, also have volts.

Interior pretty good, no bad sagging on drivers seat, door cards mint with speaker pod door bins.

To finish the car u need:-

-cossie engine bay loom and coil pack loom, a 3 bar map sensor, a tps, a filter, everything else needed i have.

£2500.

sounds alot of money but try doing all that yourself starting from scratch, would cost u best part of 6k to do one havinghad it all resprayed etc.

Cheers, Mike

my number 07970 509204, im in essex

engine bay at present

Hi Paul, u alright mate.

U know what mate, ive pretty much had zero interest, just my luck isnt it. Was thinking of breaking but knowing my luck i'd only sell a couple bits and be stuck with the rest forever.

St is for sale to mate, sold my old xr2i farm yard car the other week to, getting rid of everything, want a fresh start

Anyone interested in this turbo?? Consider splitting but into large bits like shell as a whole with suspension, engine and gearbox as a whole etc etc

rsmanan- i'll have a think mate, would prefer to sell it as a whole if im honest as it has koni adjustables for example yet i dont have any old suspension to put on it, also havent got any old wheels.

If i decide to break i'll contact you.

Will break if i have enough interest in large parts.

Am thinking the shell would have to go with the koni adjustables on it as i dont have old shocks and springs to put on. Also havent really got the facilities to remove engine and gearbox.

not sure what to price the management at mate as obviously its ot complete, needs wiring loom, 3 bar and a tps yet it is worth a fair bit to me as like the manifold has had a fair bit of work done to it and lots of nice bits. Could make us an offer

Would you have some old wheels to give me aswell at all?

I'll bare you in mind mate if i break it. At moment i dunno what im doing as havent had hardly any interest which would be very worrying if i decided to break. Would sell a couple bits then be left with loads stuck there.

Anyone wana make an offer for whole car???

Yeah basically i'll be losing use of my garage in next couple months and so im selling this, and sold my fez st the other day and want just one car that i can just use at all times.

Can't believe ive had no real interest. Buy this spend about another grand on it then you'll have a really good cossie managed gleaming rs turbo for around £3500. Baragin lol
