My IMMACULATE ERST for sale :( PRICE DROP!!!

Postby bassboy » Mon Jan 22, 2007 8:25 pm

Hi guys and girls, its a sad time for me as its time to sell my beloved Escort turbo :(

Reason being is i know want to buy a Focus RS and use my new engine in there one day and the Escort still requires SO much work before i will be happy with it to accept the engine - weld in cage, MTX75 conversion, brakes etc etc

as you know, i have owned the car for three years and not a single penny has been spared to get the car to this immaculate condition that it stands in! Those of you who have followed my restoration and engine build thread will realise that i do things PROPERLY once and for all!!

For those that have not seen the thread, ALL details for the amount of work that has been put into the car are here:

yes mate it does have a cat 1 alarm

as for negotiations, come see the car first :)

regarding whether or not its worth it...well so far to people who have not seen this car in person, have said, RST's go for £2000 or so...so im asking too much...then these same people drop to the floor when they see the quality of the work and how it drives etc (drives like new!)...everything has been changed on the car to standard or uprated spec (bar engine)...then they take the comment back and say its worth every penny if not more!

check it out...i can assure you you WILL fall in love ;)

i popped into Halfords the other day and when i walked back out i looked at it parked up and wondered if its really what i want to do LOL unfortunately change of circumstances means it has to go :(

also been told by my manager to get it ready for our next open weekend as its a big crowd puller...won car of the day (all 3 days!...and that was against hummer's, Scoobies etc!) and car of the weekend at our last open day! didnt have the heart to tell him it might not be there LOL
