1985 C reg MK3 XR3i

3 owners from new, 1st owner from new until 2004, 2nd owner the garage that originally sold the car, and the 3rd owner being me.

From what I'm told, the 1st owner hardly used the car, as shown by the mileage, and sold the car back to the garage it was bought from when he retired from driving. I then bought the car from the same garage in 2004 as they were closing the business. The car still has the supplying dealers sticker in the rear window, along with both reg plates showing dealers badge.

When I bought the car it was in need of a minor restoration, unfortunately due to other projects this hasn't been done, and the car does need work, usual mk3 escort problems, front panel, floorpan and wings etc. Although I do not have receipts to prove, prior to me purchasing the car it had a new clutch, 4 new tyres and front pads fitted.

The car is 99% original as far as I know, even down to the original AM/FM radio cassette and Cloverleaf Alloys.

The car does not run, and is partially stripped (Interior, lights and bumpers removed) although I do have the parts and will be going with the car. Unfortunately the car is missing it's bonnet, and other small items such as leads, battery. Also needs a new n/s/r window.

Obviously, as the car does not run, it will need trailering away.

Car is being sold due to other project and having to move house.
