HI JANO MATE,

having a special air box made up, not yet tried the car since
bleeding the brakes again, the last time before i bled them your
way,, the pedal felt resonably till i drove it then down to floor almost
like air still in system or master cylinder, replaced the cylinder(new)
bled it your way, But just rebuilt turbo back up, now on car when i get
my new air boxs on, will try the brakes then,
almost like it is getting air from somewhere, has new disc, and pads,
new rear cylinders and mastercylinder, and pipes,
will get it jacked right up to see if i can spot any leaks in the system?
abs is off, but still have the load valves on the rear end, thinking of
taking them off and putting a bias valve adjustable on, in car,
apart from that some dirt in the paint will be sorting that and then give
the car a mop, is nice and shinny and thats straight from the gun
waiting for a new vin plate been 6, weeks now, get tracking done
a little tidy here and there in the engine bay, new plates good hoover
and MOT, WOULDENT LIKE TO COUNT THE MAN HOURS GONE IN TO
THIS RESTORE,

senna1.

Sounds like alot of work gone into it :D

Loving the bodywork, ultra clean and looks like youve kept it fairly standard on the outside, nice choice!! 8)

street,

yeh, loads of work from engine rebuild, inc turbo, new clutch,
different gearbox, floor pan, sill, inner bays, new wings, stripped to just
the shell glass out , cosworth front brakes, cosworth management,
wheels plus painting them, everything has been touched, over a year
period, i painted it in a gazebo(tent thing) quite pleased with the results
as im fussy, be glad to get some use out of it as i bought the car
drove it home and stripped it, this is the second one i've restored
the last one was a s1, here is a picture of it

RYE,

your brake lights is it the switch playing up or the back light units
going like a disco,

yes the s2 is shinny, will be mopping it before it hits the road,
brakes have been giving me a bit of hassle, bled & bled feels a
bit spongy, like air still in system, but may just need bedding in as all
new inc mastercylider,

its normally the switch getting stuck that does that, annoying!

Had that problem on mine once before and it was the switch by the brake pedal
