love arrows mate used to have a 1600i with 15's on it when 15's were big lol, think there will be a few more turbo cabbys around in the not so distant future as escort shells are getting so scarce(good ones anyway)that was my problem, was looking for a decent base model shell but couldnt find one so bought the cabby as it was mint and cheap, not so cheap finding the bits for it though lol

been fiddling under the bonnet again, after fitting the escort rst lump on mfi started having problems as usual, have had a few rst powered cars in the past and have always been a pain in the arse lol even though the fun factor makes up for it
anyway had all the bits in my stash of parts to do this conversion as it was planned for next year but had to bring it forward as didnt want to start replacing bits on mfi motor, changed the loom over easy enough, was an easy job all in she fired up first go to my surprise and is running sweet as on OFAC ecu and map sensor, just weighing up the options at the moment not sure whether to get a set of beige injectors and a 195 chip or just get one of those megasquirt ecu's and a set of 803's,any opinions on what would be the better set up,not wanting crazy power but may want a bit more in the future lol :D :D :D

hey bud maybe getting an s1 turbo/ all white cabby in the next few weeks, hope you will like the arches more on that lol,
maybe wont stay on too long though depends on the condition of the mk4 xr3i i am getting as well,if its ok is getting re panelled as a mk3 and getting turbo'd,then will be selling the cabby as i really wanted a saloon to start with lol
