nothing with the white one thats for sale, its the black one thats the problem...we done the head gasket thats all done, but it will not start there is fuel and a spark, but the spark goes no further than the ht lead??
the dizzy cap is ok as is the rotar arm,but there is no spark from the plug leads....

it could be the phase sensor, but not had time to change it yet.....

if u have any ideas it would be great,it is booked into sanspeeds on friday as i realy need it sorted....and i am out of ideas..

So have you changed the cap n tried a different set of leads.

The phase sensor would stop the KING lead sparking all together.

I.e if your turning over the engine with the lead off and its sparking= That means that the phase sensor has no problems.

It could be in the wrong position regarding the TDC settings of the Dizzy tho. :?

If you are getting a spark to the king lead, then connect it to the cap with a rotor arm inside. REMOVE PLUGS, Then crank engine while the leads and plugs are resting against the rocker cover. It should spark.

If not:-

CAP
ROTOR ARM
LEADS
PLUGS

one of the above are faulty.

CHeck the above and let us know
