Great car mate, paint works mighty fine.

Is that an S1 lurking in the back ground? What you up to with that.

Also maybe a bit thick but does the monte still run the cossie engine?

thanks for all the kind words guys, lookin at it its hard to believe six months ago I dreamed of owning a esccos now I own this :D Will keep everyone up to date on how things go with performance ford, so excited about my car being featured its untrue. cleaned the monte wheels now and they have come up beautifully only one small scuff on the one. only criticism i have is I perhaps worry about putting on the miles more than I should (its a car ffs)

yes mate same engine, monte is limited edition of 200, 74 rhd.came in mallard green, jewel violet and ash black, ash black being the rarest they come with different interior, alloy gear knob and hand brake button, colour coded door handles, monte stickers on back and doors. car is dirty mate polishing begins tomoz.
as for the s1 long story, in a nutshell I bought a shitter of a s1 so I found an xr3 shell and started swapping everything over which is whats in garage. then went to uni and havent touched it :(

they made them when an escort cosworth won the 1994 wrc rally monte carlo and these 200 were made in celebration.
car didnt come with original sales brochure or a monte carlo rally style window sticker, and just shelled out £50 for one (god im geeky lol)
I may stage 3 next summer, but saving for AP six pots at mo
