just wanting to know if there is any interest out there for my series 1, this does NOT mean i am selling it

for anyone that cant, then here goes,
series 1 custom, registered september 85
been off road since november 05,
back on the road july 2010,
some welding done and full respray in ford diamond white,
17" compomotive mo's,
cosworth brakes all round with goodridge hoses and rs2000 handbrake cable,
Bob Murray built 2.1 zvh comprising of:
mondeo block (bored out)
fiesta efi head (ported)
kent cvh35 cam
kent solid lifters (not yet installed)
pro alloy radiator + twin fans
pace double capacity intercooler
cosworth T34 turbo
green injectors
efi inlet and fuel rail
coil pack
cosworth engine management with L8 ecu, pectel board, wasted spark driver
bosch 044 fuel pump
samco's
braided fuel lines
scorpion 4" exhaust
mk5/6 escort 1.8 gearbox

interior:
half leather recaro's with custom headrest stitching,
matching rear seats + doorcards
white dial kit with blue backlighting
plasma gauges x6

as said above this does not mean i am going to sell the car, just gathering interest and at the end of the day every car has its price.
the car does still need work doing, its still being run in at the mo with a setup from jano imminent and a frount mount intercooler and air injectors are on the cards too.

i just think of theses things now and again when the car isnt running, it kinda gets me down and sometimes wolnder if id b better off selling it an getting somin else!

Don't get rid of it Nate it's a gorgeous motor and it's such a small issue that's holding you back now.just save up and get it done then finish off running it in and get the boost turned up and enjoy :P 8)

Hey bill don't get rid you'll regret it mate BIG TIME!!!

S1's will shoot up in price mate soon mark my words 8) and 1 as nice as yours will be worth a small fortune 8)

I've always been an RS2000 man at heart but if one day I ever have enough money an S1 will be sat on my drive I was brought up on these mk3 weapons when they 1st came out my mates Dad had a brand new 1 and it foobarbed on everything back then was ace 8) These cars will always be apart of ya life so when ya have a good un KEEP IT !!!

I would if I owned 1 its the RS car I would most love to own 8)

i know what you mean sean, dont get me wrong, i dont wanna sell it, i DO wanna get her running properly and enjoy her, but if somebody was interested and offered the right sort of money i would seriosly think about letting her go.

I would never sell yours for less than 8k though although it'll be mega hard to sell it for that hence your best keeping it 8)
